We are thankful to all the people who made this page a possibility. We are especially thankful to:
Brother Lokman (a Turkish brother living in Germany) who lend us his 400 cassettes that he collected during his education in Egypt in 90s. (30 of them were Kamil Yusuf and 280 of them Mustafa Ismail recordings). He recorded most of his collection from Mamduh Faraj (the son of famous Hajj Husayin Faraj who passed away in 1992). We are also thankful to brother Ibrahim Barlas who brought 100 of these cassettes personaly from Turkey to USA.
We are thankful to brothers at www.islamophile.org for their endless patience and support. Their friendship has been a blessing to us. Their site is the first one focused in the Egyptian Style Qur’anic recitation. Knowing these two jewel brothers (they are real brothers from the same parents) gives us hope that the art of Egyptian style Qur’anic recitation recordings will be in safe hands to be passed to next generations.
We are thankful to the brothers at www.qquran.org for their excellent web site and the users of the forum there for sharing their recitations and knowledge.
We are thankful to www.quran-voice.com for their beautiful web site. Although it is only in Arabic, we benefitted a lot.
We are thankful to www.al-ommah.com a very nice but short lived web site. It was an excellent source and we hope that they will come back again.
We hope & believe that some people out there and the owners of the above mentioned web sites have at least some of the recordings in higher qualities. Since we devoted this whole web site to just Kamil Yusuf Al- Bahtimi only , we have enough space to accommodate the recitations in highest possible qualities. In his name, we request our brothers and sisters to donate whatever they have for Kamil Yusuf Al-Bahtimi in best quality available to them. The donators will be credited here respectfully.
